Cádiz is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cities I’ve seen so far. In some ways, it reminds me of Biarritz – sunny, charming, and embraced by the sea.
Still, today wasn’t an easy day.
Cádiz stretches out on a narrow strip of land, and dragging my trolley behind me, I set out – it’s Sunday – and despite all its beauty, I just can’t find the right spot to play.
I end up setting up three times, playing long sets, but the earnings stay low. It starts to get to me after a while.
And as if that wasn’t enough: every battery is dead today. Amp, phone, power bank, power station – and somehow, mine too.
But if you ever make it here, do it better:
Grab some tapas at Mesón Cumbres Mayores, visit the mighty cathedrals, jump into the sea – the waves are fantastic – and don’t miss the sunset on the beach.
Cádiz has so much to give. Sometimes, you just have to let go and take it.
